Knowing your loved ones are in good hands

It’s essential that family carers are able to take some time out knowing their elderly loved ones are in good hands. We all need time to recharge our batteries and our home care workers are on hand whenever you need their support.

Briacare can arrange cover for a loved one to be able to get some rest whilst we take on the responsibility care and companionship.  For example we currently provide respite for a lady who is woken several times each night by her husband and all she needs is 4 hours 2 times a week to be able to go back to bed and rest, this allows her to be strong physically and mentally for the other days.

We can provide a sitting service so that you can relieve yourself from the responsibility of 24 hour care knowing your loved one is in safe hands, you can take advantage of this by resting, socialising and generally having time to wind down from the day to day pressures which build upon you.

Respite care is often part of recovery after an accident, illness or surgery when regular carers need additional or specialised support.

But it can also be a way for a carer to take a well-earned break, knowing that the person they care for will be looked after properly.

Do you need to rest and recharge?  Looking after your own health is as important as looking after your elderly relatives and loved ones.  Make sure you are available for them in the long run by organising respite care through our flexible service.  Your no help to them if you are tired or ill yourself.

We can also support you at family events, such as weddings, so you can relax and enjoy the day knowing you have the support you need.
